We teamed up with Kentuckians for the Commonwealth and I Love Mountains for this poster in support of the ban on Mountain Top Removal mining. If you’re unfamiliar with the practice, the short and sweet of it is that mining companies have found that completely obliterating mountain tops gives them much easier access to valuable ore and minerals. Unfortunately, the wholesale removal also has the drawback of destroying communities, killing off mountain ecosystems and generally wreaking havoc on the surrounding land and population.
